One person has died after their vehicle rolled on Otematata-Kurow Rd (SH83), near Kurow, at around 9.30pm on Monday night.

The road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit examine the scene, and diversions are in place.

No further information was available and inquiries into the circumstances of the incident are underway, a police statement said.
