Waitaki District Libraries' 'Love Your Library' month returns for 2024 and while open to all Waitaki residents, "due to staff constraints" it is only running within Ōamaru Library.

The Waitaki District Libraries team lost its manager at the end of July and its deputy manager at the end of August, in a time of transformation for the Waitaki District Council.

Four $50 Prezzy cards are on offer for new library members who can sign up in person or through the Waitaki District Libraries website.

There will be a weekly draw for new members and a draw for existing members at the end of September.

Waitaki District Council says, "The six Waitaki District Libraries are host to a world of resources, and your library card is the key to unlocking them".

"By signing up to the library, you can borrow books, but also get access to our e-book and e-audio collection on the Borrowbox platform."
