Three hours, 50% off and hundreds of books.
The Rotary Club of Ōamaru’s annual Bookarama is offering half price on all remaining books, chief organiser Janet Wallace says.
Despite being the final day of the annual sale there are “many, many hundreds of books”, she says.
Prices will start at $1 with all remaining stock in the sale, including the “special table”, at half the marked price.
Bookarama, which has been running since last Friday (April 10) is open tomorrow from 10am to 1pm at 145 Thames Street (the former Noel Leeming building), before it is done for another year.
Janet says the Bookarama sale has gone “very, very, very well” this year and she is grateful for the people who have donated and bought books.
