Ōamaru’s Christmas Tree is on the way up…

Network Waitaki along with some helpers from the Waitaki District Youth Council were hard at work on Tuesday morning (November 28), ensuring the tree on lower Thames Street, is in fine festive form for Friday night’s official tree lighting.

Public are invited to join in the fun from 7pm as the build-up to the tree lighting begins, before the main event at about 9.15pm.

House of Breakthrough church will run a $2 sausage sizzle with proceeds going to the Ōamaru Foodbank, with That Food Guy, One Smart Coffee, and Real Fruit Ice Creams also there to feed and hydrate the crowd.

Same Same Different will bring the festive music, while Pop! Face Art will help keep the children happy.
