Tonight is the Rock n Roll Oamaru Dancers Christmas Party at the Scottish Hall in Oamaru, 7.30pm and it's the Last Girls Night of 2023 with Nuinuku - Otematata's Best Dam Pub, 6pm but don't party too hard - tomorrow is a big day!

It's the Oamaru Santa Parade and it's going to be awesome. Need to get around, here are the road closures you need to know about.

More fun for Saturday is Toyorama - Rotary Club of Oamaru (former Cameron's building) and The Big O Truckshow at the Farmers Market car park, and while you're near the precinct, check out the BIKE SALE! Hub & Sprocket (closes at 1pm) and later on, Scotts Brewing Co - Strings Attached for some live music.

Futures Waitaki Kurow Open is on on Sunday (10am tee off) as is the Take a Kid Fishing Day at Macraes - FREE (10.30am) and Kimberley Mavor School of Dance presents - A Highland Fairytale (2.30pm).
