If you haven't already heard, here is a traffic update for anyone travelling south to Dunedin.

Update 2.30pm - Traffic is flowing freely both ways Waitati to Dunedin (SH1)

Snow and icy roads have been causing huge traffic delays. If travel isn't urgent then hold off as long as possible.

Flights into Dunedin airport have also been cancelled this morning.
