Grainstore Gallery owner Donna Demente is urging people not to miss what is “shaping up to be a very special evening” at the Oamaru music venue this Friday, with Christchurch-based Terrible Sons.
The husband-and-wife, Indie folk duo, who had previously been part of Kiwi collaborative group Fly My Pretties, were also part of The Dukes when their Vampires single was a Top-10 smash in 2009.
Their single Tears Don’t Fall had more than 20,500,000 streams on Spotify.
“The Terrible Sons are very well known and loved worldwide but hardly ever perform live. Hence, a very special and rare opportunity to see them,” Donna said
LA Mitchell and Matt Barus described their music as having a “hushed and intimate vibe”.

Another Christchurch musician, up-and-coming Hannah Everingham, whose album Between Bodies came out on Friday, will be the supporting act.
“She is young and really destined for great things so having an opportunity to catch her now is extremely worthwhile.”
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are available online from Under the Radar, or via cash sales at the door (a text booking to Donna at 0273666201 is requested).
