MetService has issued the following Road Snowfall Warning for the Lindis Pass

Area: Lindis Pass (SH8)

Period: 12hrs from 6am - 6pm Fri, 22 Sep

Forecast: Snow is expected to lower to about 600 metres early Friday morning. 10 to 20 cm of snow may accumulate near the summit from just before dawn until late afternoon, with lesser amounts down to 600 metres.
