Metservice has issued a road snowfall warning for the Lindis Pass overnight on Tuesday (15th April).

Snow is forecast to lower to 800 metres tonight, and 1 to 2 cm of snow may settle on the road near the summit during Tuesday morning.

This warning is valid for 6 hours from 2:00am Tue 15 April to 8:00am Tue 15 April. Caution should be taken on this road during this time.
