Permanent, part time - 25-30 hours per week

Waitaki District Health Services Limited (WDHSL) has a fantastic opportunity available for an organised and experienced administrator, to provide excellent day to day support to the Clinical team.


Permanent Part-time (approx. 25-30) hours, worked between Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm (hours and days to be agreed with successful candidate)


ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary function of this role is to provide effective and efficient administration support to our Clinical Director (CD) and the Director of Nursing (DON).  


Responsibilities are to:

  1. Support and assist the CD and DON to ensure their administration needs are met.
  2. Support and assist other team members within the business as required.
  3. Coordinate the organisation of and attend meetings and/or interviews where required.
  4. Assist with development and implementation of operational process ensuring these are followed and continuously improved.
  5. Maintain a safe working environment complying with Workplace Health, Safety & Wellness policies.


ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a highly proficient administrator who has:

  1. Demonstrated ability to provide efficient and effective administration support in a timely and organised manner.
  2. Demonstrated ability to build great relationships, and to work and communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds, and at all levels of the organisation.Demonstrated ability to follow process, and support process improvement.
  3. High level of customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
  4. An ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and have the ability to adapt and be flexible and cope with stress and fluctuating work demands.
  5. Maintains an exceptionally high level of confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy.
  6. Acts with sensitivity, discretion, and integrity at all times
  7. Extensive experience in MS Office, and the ability to learn and administer systems and programs.
