Allied Health Assistant
Permanent, part time (0.5-0.8 FTE) 20-32 hours per week
Waitaki District Health Service Ltd, Oamaru Hospital
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our allied health team and work alongside our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other disciplines, to support therapeutic programmes, manage equipment and assist with the daily running of our busy service at Oamaru Hospital and in the wider Waitaki community.
Ongoing training will be provided to ensure you develop the skills to deliver programmes, under delegation of a therapist, with the aim to assist patients with improving and maintaining a level of independence for their home environment.
If you are a motivated, enthusiastic, caring person who enjoys being part of a team and working with people, then this rewarding role is for you. We need applicants to be physically fit, hold a full driver’s license and have an appropriate level of skill using information technology.
