Expression of Interest – Swim Instructors (Part-Time & Casual)

Are you passionate about teaching water safety and helping people build confidence in the water? We’re looking for enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join our team at the Waitaki Aquatic Centre on a part-time or casual basis.

About the Role

As a Swim Instructor, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to people of all ages and abilities. Your focus will be on creating a safe, fun, and supportive learning environment while helping swimmers develop essential skills and confidence in the water.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who:

• Have a positive and engaging approach to teaching
• Enjoy working with people of all ages, especially children
• Are patient, adaptable, and great communicators
• Can work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
• Hold a recognised Swim Instructor qualification or are willing to train
• Have a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
