Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
As a Swim Coach at Waitaki District Council, you will lead and deliver squad training programmes, fostering excellence in athlete performance. You'll work closely with the Programme Lead to coordinate pool schedules, enhance pathways from Learn to Swim to squad training, and ensure a seamless progression for swimmers of all ages.
In this dynamic role, you'll also mentor and develop swim teachers, cover lifeguard and reception shifts as needed, and manage the marketing and administration of squad programmes. This is a hands-on opportunity to engage directly with the community, promoting health and wellbeing while contributing to a thriving aquatic environment.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
Salary for this position will commence between $60,260 and $70,895 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
