Permanent, Full Time
Are you ready to lead transformative change in the heart of the Waitaki community? Waitaki District Council is searching for an enthusiastic and experienced Strategic Property Lead to lead our growing Property Team. This full-time, permanent role offers an incredible opportunity for you to make a lasting impact. Your responsibilities go beyond the paperwork. You'll shape property solutions tailored to Council, maximising the benefit of Council's property portfolio to our community's wellbeing. You'll ensure compliance with relevant laws, identify opportunities for improvement, manage our Council's fleet and work closely with our facilities management team to ensure Council facilities are well maintained and fit for purpose.
About you:
We're seeking a transformative leader who can enable the Property Team to deliver on Council's ambitions in this space, not just a manager. You'll have Local Government Property Experience, resolve issues with a strategic approach, possess a deep knowledge of relevant legislation, and be capable of working within the bounds of that legislation to unlock the potential of Council's property holdings and mentor those reporting to you to do the same.
