Are you a unique, enthusiastic, and motivated individual passionate about water safety and customer service? We are seeking a leader and role model to inspire our current and future lifeguards within our safety-driven Aquatics team.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will assist in overseeing the Waitaki Aquatic Centre and the Lifeguard Team. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team of lifeguards
• Ensuring water quality standards are met
• Providing quality supervision to all pool users
• Maintaining the building to the highest standards
• Ensuring our customers have a great experience

What You Bring:

• A proven record of running teams
• A mature attitude and strong communication skills
• A friendly and outgoing personality
• High levels of presentation and cleanliness
• Lifeguarding and water testing experience (advantageous)
• Knowledge of pool operations, including plant and equipment maintenance (training provided)
• As part of your Lifeguard award, you will need to demonstrate a reasonable level of fitness and swimming ability.
