About the role

The position is to assist the Customer liaison team in providing high quality and effective customer service to the Waitaki community and visitors at first point of contact.

The Preferred candidate will:

• Be a customer focused person with experience providing a high quality and effective customer experience
• Have a proven track record of working in a hard-working, multi- tasking and successful team
• Be highly confident with corporate computer systems, using the Microsoft Office Suite and telephony
• Have experience in cash handling
• Be reliable, organized, and friendly
• Have experience in local or central government would be an advantage
