Are you an experienced Asset Planner and wanting to make a positive contribution to one of New Zealand's most scenic and vibrant districts?

As an Asset Planner within Waitaki District Council's Water Services Team, you will be supporting the efficient and effective delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure and services to the community.

About you

You will:

• Have a relevant tertiary level qualification
• Have a minimum of 7-years' working experience in a Local Government or similar environment, ideally with specific expertise in the 3 waters sector
• Be able to apply criteria across multiple data sets, undertaking detailed analysis,reporting on outcomes and making recommendations which support effective and efficient asset management.

The position

This role will be based in our Oamaru Office, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation, maintenance and development of Council's 3 waters assets is informed by reliable, timely asset renewal planning and forward works programmes is aligned to Council's policy and service level requirements.
