About the role

Parental leave cover (12 months), fixed term from November 2023. Provide administrative and contract support for a dynamic team of engineers, with a key focus on excellent customer service.

The primary purpose of the role is to:

• Provide technical admin support to the Roading Team
• Coordinate between Assets and external suppliers / customers
• Ensure organisational record keeping processes are followed
• Customer Response Management

About you:

• Strong administration, multi-tasking, communication and relationship skills
• Knowledge of Council engineering operations and activities, rules, regulations and processes
• Quick learner of technology, processes and terminology (we speak a different language)
• Adaptable, responsive, supportive and good sense of humour
• Current Full NZ Drivers licence and rights to work in NZ
