Are you a customer service superstar with a passion for hospitality and interest different flavours? Do you love engaging with people, creating memorable experiences to our local customers and people visiting Oamaru?

We are looking for reliable, motivated casual staff to join our cellar door team in Oamaru. The tasks include (but are not limited to): taking care of opening and closing procedures, welcoming customers, selling spirits and merchandise, offering advice and assisting customers with their purchases, managing stock and maintaining displays, processing sales and handling payments, answering customer enquiries and phone calls.

You will be mostly working independently, so you will need to be confident with being in charge. As an experienced salesperson you’ll be able to read the room; you can comfortably look after several customers to optimise sales - while providing friendly, professional customer service with a smile – also under pressure.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent customer service skills

• Attention to detail

• Strong inter-personal skills

• Hospitality experience or keen interest in spirits

• Duty Managers Certificate (preferred, not essential)

• Ability to work across 7 day roster

This is a great opportunity for someone who is flexible and able to work during weekends and school holidays.

Part-time casual role, incl. weekend work, available for immediate start. Hours and days will be discussed. We are also seeking casual staff who may like to work intermittently. Full training provided for successful candidates.
