Fantastic opportunity to work within the sports industry and bring your organisation, planning and communication skills to drive our mission to be North Otago’s first choice summer sport.

NOCA is one of four district associations in the Otago region and there are close working relationships and support from Otago Cricket and the other district managers in Southland, Otago Country and Dunedin.

Reporting to the NOCA Board, this position works closely with the Otago Cricket Development officer based in North Otago as well as the local clubs, coaches and volunteers.

This is a fixed term contract for 20 hours a week with flexibility to work up to 30 hours during busy periods.

Key Experience and Skills:

• Social media, Marketing and website maintenance
• Leadership and management
• Financial literacy, funding applications and record keeping
• Planning and reporting against NZ Cricket & Otago Cricket Partnership Agreement
• Relationship building
• Events & competition management using sport specific software (training provided)
• Computer literate using Microsoft teams, Excel, Xero, Canva
