We’re looking for a Vegetation Trade Assistant to join our Contracting team in Oamaru. If you’re a practical “hands on” person with an interest in vegetation clearance activities and experience with operating machinery – we’d love to hear from you!

Network Waitaki Contracting provide high voltage electrical construction and maintenance services across New Zealand, we currently have depots based in Oamaru and Central Otago.

We are currently transforming our business into a modern, customer centric service provider and are strongly committed to supporting our people, providing a flexible environment where you can succeed and grow.

This newly created role will undertake a wide range of tasks, aiding the Vegetation crew and other trades, under supervision.

Preferred Attributes:

*Full Class 1 Drivers License minimum - Class 2 preferable

*Successfully completed NCEA Level 1 (or equivalent)

*Unfazed by unpleasant weather conditions

*Good spoken and written communication skills

*Available for after hours and emergency situations
