BestStart Oamaru Kindy is seeking a passionate Caregiver to join our energetic and tight-knit team. Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community.
BestStart Oamaru Kindy is situated in a lovely old, converted villa which creates a nice, homely feel for the children and families attending our centre. We have a large, sheltered and private playground. Our centre vision ""Learning as we play, growing as we learn together"" highlights our focus growing children's social skills and learning through play. Each member of our team plans and provides fun learning experiences to extend childrens' skills and knowledge.

About the Role:
You will be joining a tight knit team, working 15 hours per week, 8am-11am Monday-Friday, with possibility of additional hours to help cover leave.

Reporting to our Centre Manager and working within a close-knit team you will be joining a dedicated team of Teachers who provide quality care and education to our tamariki.

Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must. You'll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
