Te Kāika is a ‘one stop shop’ for family wellbeing, providing a range of affordable health care and free outreach social services. We are a kaupapa Māori organisation that supports a broad section of the community, including Māori, Pasifika and low-income communities.
Te Kaika Ōamaru is a small medical centre based in Ribble Street. We have been in operation since December 2021 and have continued to grow steadily.
We are the top performing practice in the Southern PHO (WELLSOUTH Primary Health Network) for the North Otago region for health management and patient focused care outcomes, as evidenced by statistics provided by the PHO for the past 3 years.
We are an accredited medical centre, offering diverse services including skin lesion removal, drivers medicals, ACC, chronic health care management.
