The Oamaru Volunteer Fire Brigade is made up of volunteers throughout the community.
Our Volunteers are dedicated, they sacrifice time away from their families and workplaces in order to train for, and respond to emergency situations.

- Firefighting
- Medical
- Urban rescue
- False alarms
- Hazardous material incidents
- Vehicle extrication
- Salvage
- Severe weather and natural disaster response
- Traffic control
- Animal Rescue
