For people interested in vehicles 30 years and older. Don't need to be an owner or have one on the road.

Monthly club night meetings on the first Wednesday of the month at the clubrooms 1 Stoke Street. The club-based program includes local car rallies, Spare Parts Shed, weekly cuppa 10 am on Monday mornings, mid-month runs, monthly motorcycle runs, visits to motoring related sites and businesses, speakers on Club Night, monthly branch newsletter called Distributor, information provided about regional and national rallies and events.

Our members collectively have a vast knowledge of mechanics over a very wide range of vehicles, and they are always willing to share knowledge and experience.

Membership is to the national VCC body which allocates you to a local branch, annual subscription to Beaded Wheels, the club magazine, (published six times a year), access to insurance company Vero club insurance scheme, discounts to cross Cook Strait using either Bluebridge or Interislander Ferries. There is also a group Facebook page open to anyone to join.

Joining can be via the VCC website  vcc.org.nz  or by a paper based application form available from the local branch. A full year single membership is $125 or less depending on the time of year. Partner and Junior memberships also available.

Anyone is welcome to attend a meeting or two and have a look at the clubrooms before making an application to join.
