Founded: 1903
Orginally took part of the Waimate Sub Association as part of the South Canterbury Cricket Assocation. Glenavy won the competition twice, first in 1951-52, and its second in 1966-67.
After the winding up of the association and with its close proximity Oamaru, Glenavy joined the North Otago Association in what was then the second level of club competition, second grade.
They currenlty compete in the Senior Reserve holiday competition.
