East Otago Health provides 24 hours 7 days per week medical care to the East Otago Community. Our main clinic is located in Palmerston but we also have a satellite clinic in Waikouaiti located 14km to the south of Palmerston. We have a dedicated team of general practitioners, P.R.I.M.E/after hour’s nurses, admin staff and practice nurses. East Otago Health is a rural General Practice and also holds the PRIME contract for the region.

We moved into our new Palmerston premises in November 2017 which provides state of the art facilities to care for our community and space for our medical team, consisting of three doctors, 6 nurses, 4 admin and a practice manager. District nurses and a variety of services also work from our premises.
