Anvil Engineers Ltd is a locally owned and operated business offering general engineering services from our workshop in Oamaru North or on-site whenever required.

Workshop Manager Ross Hayes leads the team having completed his apprenticeship in Maintenance and Diagnostics at Gillies Foundry. Ross then spent 10 years at Ireland Engineering working in both the Fabrication and Machine workshops, and was Foreman of the Machine shop for 8 years. He has worked on almost everything from expensive sports cars to tractors, fireplaces to fertiliser buckets.

Working alongside Ross is Tim Shields who is also well known in North Otago. Tim draws on his experience as a Welder and Workshop Foreman in General Engineering businesses in New Zealand and Australia and has vast experience with MIG, TIG and stick welding on most materials.
