We are excited to announce the VTNZ Portable Licence Testing Unit will be in Oamaru at the YMCA, ARA Campus, 44 Humber Street on Tuesday, 26th March 2024.

This is a great opportunity for those facing licencing barriers, such as the need to travel to Dunedin or Timaru to organise a test for the Conversion Licence.

The portable testing unit is able to process the following types of applications:

• Learners licence (standard applicant – 2 people every 15 minutes, reader – 2 people every 25 minutes, interpreter – 2 people every 30 minutes)

• Reinstatement (same timings as above)

• Reissue (same timings as above)

• Renewal (same timings as above)

• Overseas conversion (allocate one person to a 45-minute slot)
