Wind and Waves portrays Port Chalmers-based illustrator David Elliot’s admiration for the sea, weather, maps, and old books, created with mythology, human exploration, and scientific research at the forefront of his artistic intent. His characters, real and imagined, are inspired by the Otago Harbour and Ōamaru’s unique Steampunk aesthetic.
