Tension Releasing Exercises (TRE) Workshop: Unlocking the Hips, Calming the Nervous System



Join Christine Cantwell, Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified TRE Facilitator for a guided workshop designed to guide you into the process of unlocking deeply held tension patterns in the body - starting with the hip flexors, a key area where stress often hides.


Using Tension Releasing Exercises (TRE), we’ll activate your body’s natural reflex mechanism to shake off stress and restore a grounded sense of calm.


With over 20 years of experience working with the nervous system and helping people heal from pain, Christine brings her synthesis —combining biomechanical insight, body observation, and somatic cueing. in this workshop you will learn a valuable skill ( therapeutic tremoring) that you can use for the rest of your life to address pain and tension in the body.

This session will focus on:

Releasing chronic tightness in the hip flexors, which can contribute to low back pain, fatigue, and sciatica.

Calming your nervous system through intentional movement and tremoring to help shift from "fight or flight" into rest and repair.

Reading your body's signals so you can tune in, regulate your own stress response, and build long-term resilience.


This workshop is suitable for all ages and physical abilities, it is not a work out class, more of a "work-in" - and Dr Christine gives modifications and props to make sure that each participant is supported and able to access the process in their body.


It’s a valuable practice for addressing physical pain and persistent tightness, while helping you reconnect with your body’s innate ability to release stress from the inside out.
