Tongan interdisciplinary artist Sione Faletau creates across video, soundscape, sculpture, and installation to explore the layered dynamics of cultural identity, memory, and belonging.
Informed by Tongan and wider Moana epistemologies, his practice is grounded in Indigenous frameworks of knowledge, especially the concept of ongo - a word meaning both "sound" and "feeling."
