Join us at the Oamaru Public Gardens to ring in the new year with a great line-up of family-friendly entertainment including kid's activities and food vendors.

This is an alcohol-free event (no BYO) - however, there will be a licensed Tipi bar area on site where you can purchase refreshments and drink them there.

Starting at 6pm, MC’s Mulletman and Mim, an internationally seasoned acrobatics, juggling and charm duo, will kick things off.

There’ll be live music from Iara, bringing the rhythms of Brazil to Waitaki from 6.30pm – 7.40pm.

Then local legends The Heavy Feathers will take over for a two-hour megaset of your favourite covers until 9.50pm.

Bringing in the New Year will be The Beat Skips, a live band delivering house beats with jazz, funk and some classic dance tunes remixed, as Ōamaru counts down to midnight.

Bring your friends and whānau, a blanket or some deck chairs, pack a picnic or enjoy some kai from the food stalls.
