Book your seat on the Orient Express and join Musical Theatre Ōamaru as we take you on a journey of fun and frivolity with this theatre-restaurant-style show! Perfect for the end-of-year work social club event; a night out with friends; the book club, or sports team. Whether you want to be a bit fancy and opt for our first-class table, or you know you’re better suited for second class, no class or even the baggage compartment, the catering provided by That Food Guy will be delicious no matter where you’re seated!

But there are more important things than just the food – we’ve got a mystery to solve as we travel along the same route as the famous train. Visiting France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria, join Holmes and Watson as they try to figure out who stole Countess Pullitoffski’s famous Romanoff pearls… It could be any of the cast of delightfully larger-than-life passengers aboard the train.

Feeling fancy? Book the First Class table for a truly unique dining experience! With a complimentary drink upon arrival, and extra special attention from our waitstaff, relish in your (slightly) elevated position, above your fellow train passengers. After all, one wouldn’t want to mingle with 2nd class, let alone those with No Class! However, regardless of class, we invite all guests aboard the Orient Express to make the experience memorable and dress to impress with a nod to the 1920s!

Please be seated by the time on your ticket as the meal will be served before the first act.

If you’re joining us for an evening session, you’ll be served a scrumptious dinner and dessert; and if you’re coming on board for the matinee performance, an afternoon tea fit for a King will be served!
