Janet was a world famous author who grew up here in Ōamaru.

We will be honouring 100 years since Janet’s birth on 28 August 1924.

Foundation Curator of Janet Frame House, Ralph Sherwood, will share select readings & poetry, followed by a Teatime Special featuring recipes of Janet's time lived in Ōamaru (1931 – 1943).
