Enjoy an 'Afternoon of Archaeology' at Totara Estate with free entry for all!

Have a go at digging, cleaning, sorting & analysing artefacts with assistance from one of our archaeologists from Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga.

Wear old clothes, water and dirt will be involved!

Food & beverage will be available to purchase on the day.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. No bookings required, just come along and join in.

Rain or shine, we will go ahead. If the weather is poor, activities will be moved inside one of our historic buildings.
