11am - Welcome Ceremony at the North Entrance of Riverstone Castle, followed by a tour.

1pm Lunch at Riverstone Kitchen with inspirational input from Myfanwy Alexander.

Growing up in the UK in a non-farming family it may seem strange that Myfanwy is now running a 900-cow farm in the Waitaki Valley.

The series of events that led down this – not always smooth, but always exciting – path have helped shape her and fuelled her passion for the industry and the community she now calls home.

Recently awarded the ODT/Rural Life Year of the Farmer Champion title, Myfanwy talks to us about her life and some of what she has learnt so far.
