The FMG Young Farmer of the Year stands as the premier event for NZ Young Farmers, showcasing the remarkable skill and knowledge of young people within the food and fibre sector.

Since 1969, the Contest has brought together competitors, industry members, and dedicated volunteers to celebrate the future of the industry. The regional finals for Aorangi FMG Young Farmer of the Year are in Kurow!

NZ Young Farmers members battle it out for the title of FMG Young Farmer of the Year in Kurow!

It's going to be an action-packed day as contestants from across the NZYF Aorangi Region battle it out for a place at the Season 56 Grand Final.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the action.

Winners from the District Contests move to one of seven Regional Finals, where it's decided who will be at the Grand Final.
